From Beloeil to the Field
Tatou Armor was founded in 2019 in Beloeil, Québec, by a team of engineers and tactical professionals who saw a gap in the Canadian market: premium ballistic protection that was truly designed, tested, and manufactured in Beloeil, Québec — not assembled abroad and relabelled.
From day one, we committed to sourcing only the highest-grade raw materials available in North America — Cordura® NIR-treated fabrics, Brookwood® 500D Westridge nylon, D3O® impact-absorbing liners, and UHMWPE/Aramid hybrid composites — and to having every product independently tested at accredited ballistic laboratories.
Today, Tatou Armor supplies helmets, hard plates, soft armor panels, plate carriers, and tactical accessories to law enforcement agencies, government services, and military units across Canada and beyond. Every product that leaves our facility in Beloeil carries the weight of that original promise.

Our production facility in Beloeil, Québec is where raw materials become life-saving equipment. Every stitch, every panel, every ballistic insert is produced under strict quality control by skilled Canadian craftspeople. We do not outsource production — period.

All Tatou Armor ballistic products are independently tested at OBL, one of the most respected accredited ballistic laboratories in North America. Our helmets and soft armor panels carry full NIJ IIIA certification. Hard plates are tested to NIJ Level III and IV standards. We do not self-certify.
Soft armor panels and select products are listed for law enforcement and government procurement. Full compliance documentation available on request.
